AESTUVER fire protection board
AESTUVER fire protection board is non-flammable with high compressive strength, high bending tensile strength and high resistance to abrasion. The fire protection board is also resistant to frost and easily processed. The AESTUVER fire protection boards are enriched with hollow glass balls instead of sand: these account for only 1/10th of the bulk density and display considerably better physical building properties than sand when used for fire protection purposes. The boards owe their high compressive and bending tensile strength to the use of alkali-resistant glass fibre instead of cellulose or polymer fibre. The standard board size is 1250 x 2600 mm. The thickness ranges from 8 mm to 60 mm. In addition, the AESTUVER range also includes walk-over fire protection boards for covering concrete troughs or as a substitute for wood planks in emergency escapes.
AESTUVER fire protection trunking
AESTUVER fire protection trunking is prefabricated from fire protection boards of light glass-fibre-reinforced concrete. Despite its low weight, the AESTUVER fire protection board displays high mechanical strength and is resistant to both moisture and frost. Trunking sections and moulded parts can be fitted quickly, easily and without straining, using accurately fitting screw connections. They are supplied ready for installation. Loose-fitting covers permit inspection and alteration at any time. The perforated inlay on spacers fitted lengthwise makes it possible to secure partitions and permits continuous ventilation. Even construction projects with a high density of installations can be realised economically with AESTUVER fire protection trunking, without neglecting fire protection aspects. AESTUVER fire protection trunking keeps emergency escape routes clear of smoke and ensures that vital safety systems in the building remain operational even in the event of fire.
